LEGAL AID: The Massachusetts Legal Assistance Corporation holds a “Walk to the Hill” in support of increased aid for legal services for low-income residents. Sponsored by the Massachusetts Bar Association, Boston Bar Association and The Equal Justice Coalition, the event will highlight cuts in recent years to the state’s line item for legal aid. The account was reduced to $9.5 million this fiscal year from $11.07 million the previous year.
