Detrioation of state housing for disabled cited

State-subsidized public housing units for people with special needs have been underfunded in Massachusetts for years, resulting in a lack of safe housing for these citizens. Local housing authorities have been found in serious health violations putting the residents safety at risk. The recession our economy is facing has made it difficult to create the funds necessary to maintain these houses, but the state is now doing all it can to ensure the saftey of the citizens residing in these state-subsidized public housing units.
